Salesgraph Assist sends automated meeting briefings to your Slack DMs — context before the call, and a summary after.

Prerequisites

Before briefings work, you need:
  1. Your organization’s Slack integration connected (OAuth).
  2. Your Slack user linked to your Salesgraph user account.
  3. Briefing preferences enabled in your settings.

Pre-Call Briefings

Before a scheduled meeting, you receive a Slack DM with context about the upcoming call:
  • Attendee profiles — Information about who you’re meeting with
  • Past meeting summaries — Summaries from previous meetings with the same participants, helping you pick up where you left off

Timing

The briefing scheduler runs on a polling loop, checking your calendar events within a 30-minute window. When an upcoming event is found:
  1. It checks your briefing preferences (enabled/disabled, how many minutes before the meeting).
  2. If enabled and within the configured window, it generates and sends the briefing.
  3. Sent briefings are deduplicated — you won’t receive the same briefing twice for the same event.

Configuring Pre-Call Timing

You can configure how many minutes before a meeting you receive the briefing. The default is configurable through your Slack briefing preferences.

Post-Call Briefings

After a recording is completed and processed, you receive a Slack DM with:
  • Meeting summary — The AI-generated summary of the conversation
  • Action items — Extracted action items with assigned owners
Post-call briefings are triggered automatically when the meeting pipeline finishes processing a recording.

Slack User Linking

Briefings are sent as DMs to your personal Slack account. For this to work, your Salesgraph user account must be linked to your Slack user ID.

Linking Your Account

Your administrator or the app can link Slack users to Salesgraph users. This creates a bidirectional mapping — your Salesgraph user ID is associated with your Slack user ID, and vice versa.

Unlinking

You can unlink your Slack user at any time. This stops all briefing DMs until you re-link.
