When you sign in for the first time, the app presents a three-step onboarding wizard. You must complete all three steps before you can access the main app.

Step 0: About You

Provide your basic profile information:
  • Name — Pre-filled from your account. Editable if needed.
  • Email — Pre-filled and locked to your login email.
  • Job Position — Your role (e.g., “Account Executive”, “Sales Manager”). This helps the AI tailor meeting analysis to your context.

Step 1: Your Company

Describe your company in a free-text field:
  • What does your company do? — A brief description of your company’s product or service. This context is used by the AI when generating meeting summaries and coaching feedback, helping it understand industry-specific terminology and goals.

Step 2: Connect Calendar

The final step connects your calendar and provides additional company context:
  • Company website — Your company’s URL. Used for participant mapping and company context enrichment.
  • Docs URL (optional) — A link to your product documentation, if available.
  • Google Calendar — Connect your Google Calendar via OAuth. This is required before you can proceed.

Why Google Calendar Is Required

Google Calendar powers several core features:
  1. Meeting matching — When a meeting window is detected on your desktop, the app matches it to your calendar events to pre-fill the meeting title and participant list.
  2. Slack briefings — Pre-call briefings are triggered based on upcoming calendar events.
  3. Recall.ai calendar sync — Your calendar is registered with Recall.ai for webhook-driven event updates, keeping your meeting schedule in sync automatically.
After connecting Google Calendar, a green checkmark confirms the connection. Click Complete to finish onboarding and enter the app.

Editing Your Profile Later

Onboarding data can be updated after initial setup through the app settings. Changes to your company description and website are reflected in future AI-generated analyses.
