The Slack integration enables Salesgraph Assist to send meeting summaries, pre-call and post-call briefings, and interactive messages directly to your Slack workspace.

What It Does

  • Posts formatted meeting summaries with action items to Slack channels
  • Sends pre-call and post-call briefings as DMs to individual users
  • Responds to @mentions and slash commands via the Salesgraph bot
  • Supports interactive message components (buttons, actions)

Connecting

  1. Go to the Integrations page in the app.
  2. Click Connect next to Slack.
  3. Your browser opens to Slack’s OAuth consent page.
  4. Authorize the Salesgraph bot in your workspace.
  5. The app detects the successful connection.
The OAuth flow requests the following scopes: app_mentions:read, channels:history, channels:read, chat:write, groups:history, groups:read, im:history, im:read, im:write, mpim:history, mpim:read, reactions:read, reactions:write, users:read.

Bot Capabilities

Once connected, the Salesgraph Slack bot can:
CapabilityDescription
Post summariesFormatted meeting summaries with action items posted to configured channels
Handle @mentionsRespond when users mention the bot in channels
Slash commandsProcess slash commands from users
Reply in threadsContinue conversations in threaded replies
List channelsBrowse available channels for configuration
Send DMsSend direct messages to linked users (briefings)

Slack Briefings

The Slack integration powers the briefing system:
  • Pre-call briefings — Attendee context and past meeting summaries sent before scheduled calls
  • Post-call briefings — Meeting summary and action items sent after recordings are processed
Briefings require Slack user linking.

User Mapping

To receive personal DMs (briefings), each Salesgraph user must be linked to their Slack user ID. This mapping is bidirectional — linking allows the system to look up the Slack user from a Salesgraph user and vice versa. Users can be linked and unlinked through the app settings.

Channel Configuration

After connecting Slack, you can configure which channel the bot posts meeting summaries to. This is set through the integration configuration in the app.

Disconnecting

Disconnecting Slack:
  • Revokes the OAuth token
  • Stops all briefing DMs
  • Removes the bot from your workspace
  • Unlinks all Slack user mappings for your organization
