Salesgraph Assist requires three macOS system permissions to detect, record, and transcribe your meetings. The app cannot function without all three permissions granted.

Required Permissions

Purpose: Detect meeting windows on your desktop (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet). The Accessibility permission allows the Recall AI Desktop SDK to identify when a meeting application is in the foreground. Without this, the app cannot detect that you’ve joined a meeting. How to grant: Click the Grant button in the app. macOS will prompt you to allow Salesgraph Assist in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
Purpose: Capture meeting audio for real-time transcription. The Microphone permission enables audio capture from your meeting. This audio is streamed to AssemblyAI for real-time transcription and is included in the recording uploaded to the server. How to grant: Click the Grant button in the app. macOS will show the standard microphone permission dialog.
Purpose: Record meeting video from your screen.Screen Recording permission allows the SDK to capture the meeting window’s video feed. This is used for the recording that gets uploaded and processed. How to grant: Click the Grant button in the app. macOS will prompt you to allow Salesgraph Assist in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording.

Permission Status Indicators

The permission screen shows a colored indicator next to each permission:
ColorMeaning
GreenPermission granted
YellowPermission pending (waiting for you to approve in System Settings)
RedPermission denied
Once all three indicators are green, the app proceeds to the main interface.

Troubleshooting

Permission Denied

If you accidentally denied a permission, you need to grant it manually in macOS System Settings:
  1. Click Open Settings next to the denied permission in the app.
  2. This opens the correct System Settings pane directly.
  3. Find Salesgraph Assist in the list and toggle it on.
  4. Return to the app — the status should update automatically.

Permissions Not Updating

If the status indicators don’t update after granting permissions:
  1. Try clicking the Retry button to restart the Recall SDK.
  2. If that doesn’t work, quit and relaunch the app.
  3. In rare cases, you may need to remove the app from the permission list in System Settings and re-grant it.

App Not Appearing in System Settings

If Salesgraph Assist doesn’t appear in a permission list, try clicking the Grant button again to re-trigger the macOS permission prompt.
